4-H: (Denise Herron, sponsor)  Junior (grades 4 – 6) and Senior (grades 7 – 12):  Open to all students meeting age requirements and GPA of 1.5 or higher and not more than one F . Officers are elected by the club members. This is a service organization that also provides very good training.

BETA CLUB: (Leigh Jonson, sponsor) A national non-profit leadership and service organization whose purpose is to stimulate effort, reward achievements, and to encourage and assist its members to continue their education after high school.  The qualifications for individual membership to both FA and the National Beta Club are worthy character, good mentality, credible achievement---GPA of 3.0 cumulative, and commendable attitude.  Prospective membership must be approved by the head of the school along with the sponsor.  Members must maintain a 3.0 high school cumulative GPA to remain a member of the Beta Club. Failure to maintain the required average will result in probation for one nine weeks (no club participation).  The second time will result in suspension from the club for the remainder of the school year or until such time as the required GPA is met.  By-laws of the FA charter and of the National Beta Club are available through the administration.

HONOR STUDENT:  To be considered for valedictory and salutatory honors at graduation, a student must have attended FA for eight consecutive semesters (9-12 grades).  Beta honors transfer among schools via the National Club.  MAIS Honor Society status (3.5 or better GPA) must be earned by the end of the junior year in order to qualify for graduation honors.

Cumulative GPAs are determined by calculating the total numerical points (not percentages)  for all NINE-weeks completed and dividing that total by the number of grades used. In case of multiple valedictorians, no salutatorian will be named.

FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN STUDENTS: This club is responsible for organizing and conducting chapel services and for promoting and fostering good citizenship, good sportsmanship, and Christ-like qualities in all activities of our school.  Students in grades 7-12 are eligible for membership.  A student must have a 2.0 GPA for membership and must remain in good standing with the school and the community.

NOTE:  Any club sponsored by a parent volunteer will be assigned a faculty member advisor/mentor to help with school procedures, rules and policies, disciplinary questions, and day-to-day workings.  This advisor and parent should work closely together and closely with the administration in order to assure that all rules are followed and that a smooth transition for the club can be attained.
